This class is suitable for those who are relatively new to dance (ie: has completed our contemporary dance introductory course, or has little/some dance background in various genres) and wish to learn and practise some basics of contemporary dance, be it for self-improvement or simply to pick up dance! Each term consists of 8 sessions. In these 8 sessions of every term, principles of breath in movements, release, control, core engagement, spirals, lines, transfer of weight, etc. will be taught.
Designed to continue to introduce contemporary dance to beginners through a series of simple progressive exercises, expect to gain heightened sensory awareness and better coordination, develop a more active body for a healthier body and mind, attain a little foundation in dance, as well as learn to find and enjoy the dance within your body.

This class is suitable for those who have little dance experience and wish to deepen your understanding of the basics to increase your awareness and sensitivity, build strength and improve your mobility and flexibility, as well as expand your movement range and vocabulary. Not forgetting finding and enjoying the dance and its rigour within your body.
There will be a good mix of repetition of basic exercises as well as short combinations applying the techniques learnt.

This class is suitable for those who have at least 2 years of consistent contemporary dance training and wish to go deeper in your learning and explore more complex movement patterns and concepts centred on release vs control, efficient use of weight, getting comfortable with going in and out of the floor, as well as finding the rigour in your movement.
There will be a good mix of exercises that work on core strengthening, mobility and range, floorwork, etc, as well as slightly more challenging combinations applying principles learnt.

RELEASE & FLOOR
This class is for people across all movement and dance disciplines interested to explore floorwork principles in a more manageable pace. You will be introduced to exercises that combines release with control, efficient use of weight to enable movement as well as getting comfortable with going in and out of the floor.
The class will start with warmup, followed by drills and simple exercises, building up to a movement sequence at the end.

This class is suitable for those who have completed the ballet introductory course or are relatively new to dance and wish to continue building on the basics of ballet through weekly classes. Each term consists of 8 sessions. In these 8 sessions of every term, you will be introduced to and reminded of the principles of classical ballet such as body alignment, weight placement, turn out, use of arms, as well as learn and practise basic ballet exercises and coordinations.
Designed to introduce ballet to beginners, this class will equip you with fundamentals allowing you to gain body awareness, sensitivity, strength and poise through progressive barre and centre work consisting of simple port de bras, centre practice, adage and allegro exercises.

This class is suitable for people with little/ some ballet or contemporary dance background and wish to work towards developing stronger body awareness and sensitivity. Principles of alignment, weight placement, use of weight, use of spine, active turn outs, coordination and feet articulation will be the focus of this class, alongside core strengthening and flexibility. With all these, you will be able to build a strong control over your body, so that you can enjoy the freedom that comes with it.
This class aims to build a good ballet foundation towards progressive development of your ballet vocabulary.

As classes are designed to be progressive in nature, full attendance of all 8 classes is highly recommended. Term classes are ongoing, and registration opens after every 8 sessions. You are strongly encouraged to continue beyond each term for better development and growth.

1. Payment for full term/ course has to be made, no pro-rate will be allowed for this period.
2. There will not be refunds allowed for payment made.
3. You can carry forward a maximum of 2 classes to the next term if you register for the next term.
4. Beginner term classes can be transferred across classes of same level as long as there is available slot, so check with us in advance if something crops up and you need to do a make-up.
5. Open classes and beginner classes are not transferable.
