Director's Message

Welcome to the third Sigma Youth Programme Showcase. The programme was incepted three years ago with the vision of uniting individuals passionate about dance and providing them with a platform to delve deeper into the intricacies of contemporary dance. Our aspiration was to cultivate an environment where they could learn, evolve, and thrive together. Over the past year, we have borne witness to extraordinary growth among these dancers, witnessing their discoveries of new pathways within their bodies and the emergence of fresh perspectives on dance.

This year, we are also delighted to welcome back alumni from previous batches to share in the experience of making the work.
Today's performance marks a significant milestone in the dance journey of these dancers. We are eager to witness the further evolution they will undergo from this point forward.

On behalf of the faculty and the entire team at Sigma Contemporary Dance, we extend our heartfelt gratitude for your presence here today. Please enjoy the show.

Warm regards,
Hong Guofeng
Artistic Director
Sigma Contemporary Dance
