Kaleidoscope ll
05 DECEMBER, SUNDAY
Independent artists Aeris Lee, Lim Lenzo and Reneejo Euriel will present 3 new works-in-progress as part of Sigma's 2nd edition of Kaleidoscope this year.
​
Show #1: 4 - 6pm
Show #2: 7:30 - 9:30pm
Format of the presentation: Each work will last around 10-15min. After each work is presented, there will be a ~20-min discussion for audience members to post questions to the choreographer(s) and the performer(s).
​
The presentation will also be live-streamed on Sigma Collective Space's Facebook page.

Sigma Intensive Showcase
11 DECEMBER, SATURDAY
Watch a live performance prepared by 8 selected dancers after going through 6 days (for a total of 24 hours) of Sigma Intensive, developed to challenge the dancers' physical limits and help discover their personal artistry. This eclectic mix of dancers hail from different movement backgrounds and experiences with the same curiosity in the body and its possibilities.

This showcase is put together by Hong Guofeng and Christina Chan, in collaboration with the dancers.

Dance Docu Screening

Be inspired by three revolutionaries in the history of contemporary dance in a 5h documentary film marathon. You can also register for the individual films.
3:30 - 5:30pm: Cunningham
7 - 9pm: Pina
9 - 10pm: Move: Ohad Nahirin
Merce Cunningham proved that music and dance could exist independently in the same performance, Pina Bausch deconstructed the binaries of dance and drama and Ohad Naharin created the Gaga language for any and every body. Settle in with these mavericks at this screening with anything that gets you comfy.

Open Jam: Live-Streamed
19 DECEMBER, SUNDAY
Our Open Jam will be live-streamed for the first time on our Facebook page. These monthly closed-door sessions, open to anyone who wants to move, aim to encourage the exploration of improvisation through the body’s innate interaction with sound and music played live. The same goes for the musicians on scene, who also interact with and respond to moving bodies, through the medium of sound and music.
Having seen the soul, creativity and spontaneity in each session over the course of a year, Sigma hopes to share this energy—free of judgement and full of spirit—with a wider audience. May it also inspire you.
