Jackie graduated from Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts and holds a Diploma in Dance. He is a recipient of the NAFA scholarship and had been given many opportunities to represent the school in overseas conferences such as the World Dance Alliance events held at New, Delhi and New York. He has also been a member of The Human Expression (T.H.E) Second Company since 2009 and has had many opportunities to perform and tour with the main company to Poland, Guangzhou, Yokohama and Niigata.

Jia Yin’s training in gymnastics and Chinese Dance when she was young fired her passion for movement. A leap of faith after Business school saw her pursue Dance in Singapore and New York, both under scholarship, where she obtained her BFA in Dance and got acquainted with the GYROTONIC® method. She has performed in works by a range of international artistes, including Francesca Harper, James Cousins, Sarah Foster, Pichet Klunchun, Zhang Xiao Xiong/Wu Chien-Wei, as well as locally-based artistes Jeffrey Tan and Kuik Swee Boon. When she was based in New York briefly, she performed with Nai-Ni Chen Dance Company for its 2015/16 season, whilst training in the GYROTONIC® method. Now based in Singapore, she is certified in Gyrotonic and Gyrokinesis, and trained in Balance Body® Pilates Mat and Reformer. She is an independent artiste who freelances and teaches Dance, Gyrotonic/Gyrokinesis, and Pilates in her own space, and various studios and schools, including Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts, T.H.E Dance Company's Second Company and its Training Initiative. She continues to dance, perform and choreograph for ad hoc projects.

Yi Qing continues her journey as an independent dance practitioner since 2015, after being a company dancer with 2 dance companies for a total of 7 years. Drawing inspiration from her dance background, she is currently interested in searching alternative approaches in movement studies through regular practice in improvisation and contact improvisation. To supplement her personal interest, she conducts workshops locally and internationally. Partly supported by NAC as a grant recipient, she also participates in dance festivals that are research driven.

Anthea is a full-time artist with T.H.E Dance Company. She performs the company’s existing repertoire, and works with resident and guest choreographers to create original works. With these works, she has performed in Malaysia, Thailand, Laos, South Korea, Japan, Latvia, Poland, Italy. Anthea contributes to T.H.E’s Hollow Body methodology. Anthea has been sharing her practice through giving classes to T.H.E Second Company, Nanyang Technological University’s dance club, and other ad-hoc classes in the form of task-based workshops and technique classes for five years. Through instruction, she finds that a naturally broader and deeper definition of practice develops. This leads Anthea to creation. It comes in varying formats: choreographing pieces, designing movement for film, directing full-length performances, making short films.

Luqman Hakim is an individual whose work spans the fields of auditory and visual performances, using sounds, movement, and music as primary mediums. A reflective artist, Luqman dives his time on the study of nature and its ever evolving reaction to human nature. His work explores culture, social, and 

psychological observations through sound. 

His exploration of music is carried out through his work in bands and collectives - mux, still, Great Pants and B-Quartet. His works include compositions for Perspektif’s Cityscape Singapore. He has also presented work in festivals including Singapore Writer’s Festival, Singapore Fringe Festival, Singapore Night Festival, Esplanade Sonic City, Mosaic Music Festival, and Esplanade da:ns Festival.

These musical explorations have brought him to create sounds for other live performing arts mediums. He has composed and collaborated with some of Singapore’s major theatre companies, creating music and soundscapes for Kkenang (Teater Ekamatra), Esplanade - Narratives, Scope #7, and Vermillion (diskodanny).

Tien was born in Taipei, Taiwan. After finishing her dance studies at the Taipei National University of the Arts she moved to Germany to study at the Folkwang University of the Arts in Essen.

After her graduation in 2011, Tsai-Wei joined the Folkwang Tanzstudio and worked simultaneously as a guest dancer for Tanztheater Wuppertal Pina Bausch. Since 2015 she is a full-time member in the Pina Bausch Company.

Tsai-Wei worked with choreographers such as Dimitris Papaioannou, Emanuel Gat, Johannes Wieland, David Hernandez, François Chaignaud, Cecilia Bengolea, Moya Michael, Henrietta Horn, Malou Airaudo and others.

In 2017 Tsai-Wei co-founded the company Peculiar Man that produces and spreads her own choreographic work.

Born in Singapore, Christina graduated summa cum laude from The Boston Conservatory having previously trained at the NewZealand School of Dance.

She has worked with artists including Noa Zuk, Stephanie Lake, Sita Ostheimer, Liu Yen Cheng, Matej Kejzar, Gabrielle Nankivell, Byron Perry, Lewis Major, Shahar Binyamini, Wallie Wolfgruber, and more. She has also created her own work for numerous schools and companies including Singapore Dance Theatre and was the rehearsal director at Frontier Danceland from 2012-2016. Her work has taken her has taken all over the world to Australia, Europe, Asia, the USA, Israel, Africa and NewZealand.

Featured in Prestige magazine’s “nation’s brightest 40 under 40, 2013” Christina won the 2015 JCI TOYP outstanding young persons award in the category of cultural achievement. She currently has a collective dancemeasheep with French Artist Aymeric Bichon.

Trained in ballet and contemporary dance, Chiok is a founding member and dance artist of Sigma Contemporary Dance. She has performed and collaborated in works by Hong Guofeng, Jessica Christina (Indonesia), Marcus Foo, Benedict Soh, Christina Chan, and Yeri Anarika (Berlin/ Mexico). Her co-creation has been selected for M1 Offstage 2018, M1 Open Stage 2019, as well as CDE Springboard in Macau and Hong Kong Dance Exchange in 2020. She has also created short works for universities and tertiary institutions. Aside from dancing and creating, she shares her passion and dance knowledge with children, youths and adults as a freelance dance educator.

A wordsmith and movement magpie, Germaine received her initial training at Singapore Ballet Academy before furthering her studies at the Rambert School of Ballet and Contemporary Dance in London. Since graduating in 2012, she has performed with RAW Moves and her choreography has been showcased at Dance Nucleus’ HATCH and M1 CONTACT Contemporary Dance Festival. Germaine received the award for Best Dancer in the finals of the 5th edition of Sprouts.

Nicole was trained in Ballet under the tutelage of Sandra Ho, and transitioned to Hip Hop, Modern and Contemporary dance during her junior college and university days under Ryan Tan, Patrick Loo, Jessica Christina and Marcus Foo. She is currently a dance artist of Sigma Contemporary Dance, and has taken part in their productions and shows since 2014 both locally and overseas.

Redwan Hamzah is a musician, composer and educator.

Interfacing with different disciplines as a composer and in an improvisatory context, he has been composing music for dance productions and short films, which include Dock 65 (Hong Guofeng, Christina Chan and Sigma Contemporary Dance Company) and Stolen Dance (Translucent Bodies).

In his works, he bridges explorations of his Javanese roots and the organic and synthetic with a search for balance between harmony, melody and technology.

As guitar player/writer for artistes such as Sezairi, Tim De Cotta and Din Ilango, his musical experiences have allowed him to grace stages all over; ASEAN-IMF (India), Laneway, Baybeats, Shine, Ignite!, Earth Hour, Music Matters, Streetfest.

He is a member of instrumental band still, and music and movement improv ensemble Great Pants. Redwan is also a co-founder of Insyncsg, a music education company.

Matt is never shy about his self-taught background in percussion. He always has a clean groove in his veins, no matter the genre. 
He made his rounds as a performer through the Geylang Ska Syndicate, playing on several of their live shows since 2018. Recently, he performed with them in Muzika Extra Extravaganza 2019 and Singapura Live 3.0 2019. Most notably, he played at  the Esplanade with the Geylang Ska Syndicate for numerous times, along with a horns section ensemble.

Another circuit Matt runs in is the Geylang Afro-Rock, even recording a live E.P.  under Kribo Records with them. It's a local band with credentials in both the mainstream and the underground circuit. He has performed at Esplanade with Geylang Afro-Rock several times, where the funky, psychedelic band frequently improvises during live performances. 

Matt is also a mainstay in Bushmen, one of Singapore's top reggae bands that has been performing since 1994. He first played with them at the beginning of 2019.  Now, you can find him jamming with them every first Sunday of the month at the Hard Rock Café. 

Prominent names in Singapore's entertainment scene soon took note. He has  performed on numerous occasions for Mediacorp actress and singer Huda Hamzah, a fixture on the Suria channel. Matt also recorded a couple of drum tracks for fixtures  in the local music scene, such as Man Toyak, Hamzah Adon, and numerous others. 

Today, he's found a new passion for sharing the gift of music. Matt has been teaching at AOR for over 8 years. In 2020, he started his own YouTube channel. There, he crafts original drum tutorials, paring down the basics with a fresh spin.

Guofeng Hong is the artistic director and co-founder of Sigma Contemporary Dance, a semi-professional dance collective based in Singapore. Since 2012, he has directed and choreographed all of her major productions and most recently, premiered a full-length work, Dock 65 at the Esplanade Park. His works have been showcased in local arts festival such as M1 Contact Festival and SMU Arts Festival and to international dance festivals such as Hong Kong Dance Exchange, Macau CDE Springboard, Sibu International Dance Festival, Dance Circus and Blossom Arts Festival. He creates works based on the ongoing development of his movement and choreographic practices and The Straits Times and Arts Equator have described his works as “compelling”, “slick”, “immersive” and “clever”.

Guofeng is the Artistic Director of SMU Indancity and was also a judge for the inaugural Flux Dance Competition 2018, a contemporary dance competition dedicated to pre-professional youths aged 16 - 25. He actively shares contemporary dance with young adults and working adults through workshops and master classes both locally and abroad and has created numerous works for contemporary dance clubs of local tertiary institutions.
